Personally i think the only way to do it would be to stop the card updating.

Why, because i had sly installed in 2001 (or 2000 not sure) anyway at that time sly was going through a package chance and all the package codes changed with it.. so i phoned them up to cancel sly sports. they said its done leave it 24 hours.. and it stayed on for a year after they also changed the card in that year and it still worked..

i phoned them up and they said dont worry about it..

To me it doesnt sound like a fault on the card or system i think its admin error on their side.

What a complete waist of a thread!!

Sky couldnt possibly afford it to continue even if it ever did happen so Forget it!!!!!! They have got much more money than any of us on here to counter even the best reverse engineering, I heard a rumor that Rupert Murdick EVEN has more money thatn Raptor himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :nowords:

if sky was open to the extent of all\most other sat provider's they would lose �� BIGTIME! and we would probly see a loss of channel's\or? price hike of package's on all the provider's that sub off sky.

i have alway's beleived it to be done practically everything else has? including sky itself before. analogue\and digi.

i could be wrong but i can't see it being as availiable as other sat hack's ever! and i think this may just be down to politic's?? and maybe the fact that the sky machine has some little bit of input into the demise of other provider's encryption's!!

let's hope sky upset some employee who has acess sensetive info eh?

It seems Endcrypt have gone down the same road as Modshack! So I have coppied the thread and pasted it. I know nothing about sat hacking so it might not even be sky related.

Hello all...

I have a NEXT YE-2000 CI, The person I bought it from demonstrated how it automatically updates and unlocks channels, simply pressing the green button on the remote control and successfully updating.

BUT now it doesn't do that anymore, anyone knows what I have to do for it to function as it used to.. I have no idea about these things but I like to learn and maybe get to the point of bringing info you you guys as well.
