Help DJ Hero - good, or expensive fad?

Has anyone got this and think it is a good long term game worth the money? I like the look and idea, but feel it is pricey.

    Cheers.....Q

i've played it with the renegade controller and the plastic cover on the top came off first time we used it, shocking for what is supposed to be the deluxe version of it.

The game itself is cool if you are into the music, it doesn't really have the appeal of RB/GH, not the longevity so i would say it is a bit expensive.

I love it. Its a lot easier than guitar hero and you feel like you actually make a difference to the tune while you are playing. The mixes are pretty good aswell. Love the MC hammer and Vanilla Ice mix

I fancy DJHero but only if I see it cheap. I don't think it's worth the RRP

for iphone owners there's always touchDJ which was limited to it's own database until recently but you can now import any mp3's

I tried this out a while ago and whilst it works I wouldn't recommend it as an alternative. I'd rather just listen to the music. I found that without the real feedback it was just like rubbing your fingers on glass and wasn't much fun at all.
