Both Epic records and Cowells label both work in the same SONY group family lolol.......

So who fooking wins here ? The band or Sony????? Errrrrrr answers on a postcard.....YES i know the prceeds go to charity but there are other gains here...

Truth is Simon Cowell doesn't give a feck....as a side note i hate X Factor with a passion lol
You too have missed the point.

Using your logic, when the Police kicked the shit out of people during the G20 summit in London, the following protest marches were totally pointless because all it did was raise money for the Police who were working overtime!

No i haven't, I have put my point across at the end and that is Simon Cowell and the record labels don't give a flying feck as long as the money rolls in......

It has been done out of protest, there is a very subtle difference.

You never know, maybe, just maybe this will make a difference - I fucking doubt it though.

If someone offered you the chance to punch Cowell round the face full force for £10 would you take up the chance? I'm guessing you would be of the opinion that if you took it up your pocket would be ten pounds lighter therefore it is a terrible idea. I happily would pay a tenner, then I would join the back of the queue and waste another tenner.

Not saying you're right or wrong, just differing points of view.

Re Next year: it's up to the music industry. Give us something decent and hopefully we won't have to resort to these kind of stunts.

Yeah fair point i suppose but saying that i reckon Cowell would take a kicking if it meant lining his pockets

Those who say Rage Against The Machine are crap are talking shite. Their self titled album is one of the greatest rock albums of all time! It still sells loads even today.

I bought it because I love the track and I'm sick of all this crappy music selling loads and being forced down my neck.

All this smug talk of Sony still making money, you're being a sheep if you bought Rage etc., is bullshit. I bought the Rage single because when I look back at Christmas no.1's I want to see a break in the line of X-factor no.1's. I don't really care if Sony get the money, or if the recording industry profit, I just didn't want another X factor no.1, simple as.
