    I don't have any info on the above, but look at the insane prices on the VideoCD tutorials there's 6, £52.00 each, and then commercial master keying for £105.

    @God_is_a_DJ

    Yeah, lock picking is quite easy to learn. There are plenty of very good guides lying about on the internet, the MIT one is probably the best place to start as it covers a lot of the more scientific and background aspects in detail.

    I can't really comment on those picks above, all I can say is that I got a set of 10picks and various tension wrenches from www.gun-room.com about 2 years ago and they've lasted very well. I suggest you start by trying to pick really simple locks, like the inside ones on windows, or if you've got a kids money box try that (you don't have to take the money though, unless you're a real bastard ). Anyways, have fun with them and don't get in too much trouble.

    I would not get the swiss army one, it may look good, but wont work as well as seperates (unless they unhook from the penknife).

    I bought a set of 12 different ones last year, its good fun trying to learn although it does take patience. The MIT manual is the best one, I can email to anyone if people cant find it.

    I have to have picked some padlocks, I opened my mates electirci coin meter for him and we had 5 quid each. You have to be careful we these as the amount is that goes in is measured, but his landlord used to come round with a bucket and poor all the meters from the differnet flats in together.

    I have had a go at the front door but gave up after half an hour cos it was bloody hard.

    yeah but that gun goes against the art of lockpicking (y duz that remind me of pulp fiction )

    anyway its more impressive when u can do it with a skinny bit of metal

    Im not bothered about any art, will the Picklock Gun do the trick? Can it open house/garage doors relatively easy and quickly!!!?

    I don't care about knowing how to do it manually, as it looks frustrating.

    Thanks..

    the offence is called "going equiped for burglary" and any person other than a licenced locksmith is prohibited from even owning a pick gun, same law applies to lock picks but you can at least have them in your home.

    I bought a set from that site u were luking at, i was gonna go for the swiss army version too at first but instead i got the 10 pick plus tention tools set. I figured it wud work better an be easier to use, as well as i was gettin more picks for my money. I tried doin the front an back door of my house with it an only managed it with the front, its bloody difficult on locks like that. I also have discovered its one thing to open them an a whole other to lock them from scratch so if u do open a lock with these only turn it about 3/4 of the way round otherwise u cnt lock it without the key easily,

    Hope this helps,

    -Bez
