    Default Windows to linux

thinking of moving to linux this maybe a good place to start.

Zorin OS is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution designed especially for newcomers to Linux. It has a Windows-like graphical user interface and many programs similar to those found in Windows. Zorin OS also comes with an application that lets users run many Windows programs. The distribution's ultimate goal is to provide a Linux alternative to Windows and let Windows users enjoy all the features of Linux without complications.

I've just installed Kubuntu (posting from it right now).

A free download of 700mb. Burn to CD. Easier to install than windows.

    Seems good so far.

my recommendation is to stick with ubuntu over kubuntu because i've had some issues with that in the past due to KDE. For example I couldn't get my pc to shut down correctly it would just go to a blank screen and not shut down. Guess if it works for you then it does look better.

I would give out Mint 7 for new comers. This will play mp3's divx out the box. Looks really nice as well check the link,
