Don't know about ones with recording equipment, but eBays being flooded by these really small colour cameras that come with the transmitters+receivers.
They're 2cm by 2cm so are quite small, and can run on a 9 volt battery.

Its quite cheap too, £100, apparently the cheapest you can get them from other online stores and high streets is £300+

    Picture With Sound:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=1363384634
    £120

    Without sound:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=1364385326
    £100

Looks pretty easy to use. Only need to plug the receiver to a video or TV to record or watch, and then hide the little camera (with battery) somewhere.

I use a spycam daily to follow shop lifters

the cam its self is a small pinhole cam from maplins cost around £50 this then plugs into a digital camcorder with a analogue in , which is strapped to my body or in a bag etc, the camcorder tape itself is a 6hr battery and the spycam runs a 9v battery and lasts about 5-6hrs.

I know there was one from Sony. I'm not sure whether it was a prototype or for consumers.

It had a retro look and it was in metallic red. Looked very nice, and technically advanced (well at least a year ago). Fully digital, 3,1 million megapixels and (the awkward) memorystick. Also it had a USB interface, but there was also talk about a firewire-interface.

this is mine, full colour, no audio but its fully wireless and runs from a 9v battery (5-6 hours on a nimh rechargeable, 2 days on li-on) or mains power it can be fixed or portable. stick it anywhere then use a camcorder or vcr plugged into the reciever to record it, it can be very portable with a mini dv camcorder in your pocket and the cam looking out through a "air hole" ringlet in a jacket pocket, the aerial is fully flexable.

Cost £130 from bowlers main hall (much less for a non wireless version)

excuse the quality of the pic i had to take the pic with my phone (no flash and a yellow tube light for illumination )

Use a mirror to spy through? ie place the camera behind, yes sure you just need a very small part on the mirror where you can remove a bit of the reflective material from the back of the mirror, get a cheap mirror and experiment no one will notice a pinhole size etc aslong as their are no back lights etc.

I think cam was intimating that ABCman could have use the spycam to take a picture of itself, in a mirror.

And no spelling mistakes either cam 10/10:
