    im pretty sure its the leftovers from guiness production they use. Guiness yes, leave it at that. i reckon they were taking the piss when they first made marmite: if we heat this leftover crap we get a thick paste, lets c if we can sell it.

    Breakfast consisted of moose meat fried in butter with onion and spagetti on the side, marmite isn't that a protected species!

    Great stuff, I always add a bit to cheese on toast before I grill it.

    I also love Vegemite, but can't tell the differnece between that and Marmite - can anyone else?
