Resistance 2 was worth buying the ps3 for. Very underrated, can't believe everyone jumped on the bandwagon of not liking it so easily as the 12 hours or so that I spent on the single player of that were some of the best hours i've spent on any game ever.

As for GT5, you can keep it. The franchise is dead as far as im concerned

I've never played the Resistance games, would you say it's worth playing through the first one before buying the second, storyline wise?

I have both games and haven't got round to playing them yet so I'd like to know the same as Cyprus. Do you think it is worth playing both or skipping to 2?

I thought both games were quality - you don't 'need' to play the first one first but I would.

I got 2 e-mails from GAME yesterday! First said it was delayed until Nov 3rd (instead of the official Nov 2nd date), then got another one saying it's delayed until Nov 5th!

So basically some time between Nov 2nd & Nov 5th.

If it's not, then I think we should both go over to Japan, walk into Polyphony Digital HQ, steal a dev kit and what has been made of the game so far, come back home and we can just play online.

I remember Forza 3 coming out and Edge had played both GT5 and Forza and said that Forza was the superior game. Next thing the release slipped again and they tried to improve it. Its a shame because the GT franchise has been great over the years but the lack of releases with massive development cycles has tarnished it. If they bring it ourt now and its crap then that reputation will be gone. Thats probably why its been delayed again.

Well I got GT5 Prologue, and to be honest it's a lot shitter than I remembered.
I've been playin a lot of Blur, GRiD and Forza style games, and now playing Prologue it just seems so slow and on-rails, it's boring.

Hopefully when it's released it'll be much improved, I remember reading there will be real damage this time too, so should make it a bit more fun.
