Free mobile internet with Three PAYG sim.

Any PAYG Three sim will work for this ( no credit )

First you need to add a new connection: (in ur dongle software,i using what installed with mine, or mobile partner)

Name: Three
APN: three.co.uk
User: guest
Pass: guest

This will get you a 10.x.x.x IP

In profiles you need to move the 3G connection to available and the new one you created to the prefered

Then using Proxifier (http://www.sendspace.com/file/l28d7z)

In options tick autostart if you want program to start everytime you logon. Leave unticked if you will manually start program yourself.

Then add a proxy with following details:

IP: 92.41.252.3
Port: 80
Proxy Type: HTTPS
Appear as Internet Explorer to be checked (this stops every site thinking your using a mobile phone)

Thats all there is to it and its there is no usage limit, its completely UNLIMITED!!

Not yet tested myself. Will try later as I have a PAYG Three sim that I have never used.

Varies from okayish in good signal areas to shite, usually wherever I am.

That was on O2 tho. Three is supposed to have the best 3G coverage, so may be better.

From what I can tell bud, that proxy address is only three's address, that maybe a working dongle would use?

If it's unlocked I'd say so. Gonna try on my zte one, which I unlocked to work with o2, and see. Was originally on Three, so may even try and find the original firmware to put it back!

just hooked up a neighbour - had to download a connection manager as couldn't find options in the 3 app.. working fine though, nice one!

im having trouble with dongle drivers yet again in win 7 but i'll have another play tomorrow... I've got about 10 three sims that they gave me for friends when i did my contract upgrade

Well bugger me! Just set this up, using my old ZTE Three modem, unlocked and flashed with a globe client and a three sim card I got with my contract that I have never uesd/registered.

Is that a three sim in your iPhone Malty? Or did you go o2 contract?

I tried my o2 iPhone PAYG sim in my dongle today too, and it didn't do fuck all, just timed out. Prob been cut off... Haven't used it in months, maybe stick it in a phone later and see.

Theory is, if o2 can identify and block their iPhone sims, then surely three will stop this hack quick as well, especially as now it's mainstream. They'll be losing too much potential cash to not to. Or at least that's how they'll see it.

Bugger tried this last night and couldn't get it running im using a zte mf622 running the three software im must be stupid at the minute.

The speeds depends on which modem you use. I get upto 7.2Mbps on my Huawei E1750 contract modem using a PAYG sim.

The older modems only support speeds upto 3.6Mbps.
