if you set compatibilty mode to 98 then yes it will work, as i don't have XP Installed personally i can't test but have seen it verified by respectable members of the GSM Comunity..

I have a set of nokia flash/m/f bus cables will the will one of them work with this or do I need a new 8310 data cable ?

Also a friend has a 8310e which is barred on orange can this be fixed now ?

If the pnones barred on a Network it means its lost or stolen, so then the imei gets blocked by the network. The unlocker will not change trhe imei

you will need to buy an 8310 data cable to use this software,

it can't be unbarred from orange as the IMEI solution has not been released yet, but there are people fixing corrupt IMEI numbers in DCT4 phones

when i have more information on this i will let people know. if you unlock the phone you/your friend will be able to use it on other networks accept orange.

I got there in the end , after several reply's of privaledged information i decided to give the win98 compatability a go , since im running xp pro and it worked a treat

nice one furgo m8.works a treat.came up with a error on the 2nd part of the unlock,when usin jic version.but still carried on updating the locks.now i,ve got a 8310 unlocked fone.im very happy,cheers on ur little notes on how to use the software.

i had this given, i have 2 proggys
just in case one dont put the fone into test mode first.
the other will then go back to the first and unlock

3410?

Will this unlock the 3410? and which connector do i need?

Would i have to follow the same process used to unlock the 8310?
ie..

DCT4 Unlocker Cyber for test mode
then
JIC DCT-4 Unlocker?

5210 is a good phone, use Nokia Tool by Jordik to unlock it available in the sticky at the top of the page or from my signature.

as for the DCT4 imei solution u will have to wait a while for that, there is supposedley a few people fixin corrupt IMEI numbers e.g 000000000000000 and ???????????????

Guys all I keep getting when trying to unlock any 8310 is:
"Setting to test mode...
Reading IMEI..."

Then an error message:

"Cannot read original IMEI from phone"

What am I doing wrong?
