Auto TV downloads using newsgroups ?

I'm currently using Utorrent with RSS to download my TV but i want to get away from torrents and use more newgroups..

So far the best automatic method i have found is using sabnzbd+ used with RSS feeds i noticed that the program had special options for newzbin.com but i need an invite to sign up..

so two questions.

Anyone on newzbin.com spare me an invite and does anyone have a better solution for auto TV downloads from newsgroups

not sure about the auto download thing but would be interested in what you find, i just use grabit and the old fashioned way.......

Get yourself a Qnap, it'll download from the NG's for you using Qget and is one of the best Nas solutions on the market. PM your email and I'll send you an invite for Newzbin.

One of the easiest ways I've found with sabnzbd is using these rss generator pages.

http://www.mytvnzbrss.com/

You can select what shows you want to keep track of and if you want hd rips or not.

I've looked into these Qnap things in the past. How exactly do they work? To me it just looks like a Raid array and looks complicated. I'm voting for a Popcorn Hour C200 at the moment. But am wondering about these Qnap things...?

I set this up yesterday works very well, it will get the nzb from the RSS feed download it verify with par2 unpack and short the TV show out into the correct directory's on my NAS ,the only weak link will be the quality off the RSS feed this week will be the test for it ...
