i'm having trouble finding a hotel where is everyone staying?
i've tried the following but all claim to be fully booked
Imperial Hotel
Hilton Blackpool
Savoy Hotel
De Vere Hotel
Clifton Hotel
Manor Hotel
they seem to be the only decent hotels in blackpool so any help would be greatly apreciated.
I need a twin or triple room for myself +2, must have plenty of *****'s and decent facilities (swimming pool pref), must have lifts to room (cant do stairs when sober let alone crawling), must have a private car park (off street), decent 24 hour room service, on suite, sat tv, all the usual stuff and be close to the front (if not on it) as i will need a taxi back on sat night/sun morning, CAN'T be non smoking.
Price is unimportant

Can't we have it in Blackpool-akka-Hanley-on-Trent,- we ain't country bumkins here !! then we can both crawl back indoors & I won't tell ur missus, cus with a bit of luck we both won't know what happened. We can get pix of the Big one, and a few sacks of sand, to blag the rest of them lot, even get the hose pipe on, sure we can slip a local a few quid for his kiddies blow up swimming pool ?? chuck the rest some (hehehehhe) (I ain't saying, ) so they thinx they stopped in a posh hotel, and the real doubters, stick em in front of the telly with a PS - won't know where we were at ??
U know where I 'might' be on Saturday
ok guys, this SHOULD be your contact number for finding where we are, it will not be activated untill i get to blackpool so there is no point in calling it, and it wont be working once i leave blackpool so i wouldnt bother saving it its just a number for the meet
07950-966552
pretty easy to remember
As i said, this number is only going to be active for the blackpool bash so you can find where we are or where we are meeting up.

Speed cameras blitz
by David Higgerson
MOTORISTS who refuse to put the brakes on their speed were today told where 100 new speed cameras across Lancashire were to be installed.
Work will begin on installing the equipment over the next month and will result in 230 cameras being in operation by the end of September.
That total will rise to about 500 by the end of 2004, when the three year road safety project, which involves all fines money being pumped back into more cameras, comes to an end.
The Lancashire Road Safety Partnership expects £20million will have been raised through £60 fines by then, which will mainly be spent on more cameras and publicity blitzes.
The extra camera sites will be a mixture of fixed cameras and mobile cameras, where the police park up for a set period of time
Proposed new sites are: The Wyre: B5412, Victoria Road East, east of Meadows Avenue, Thornton; A588, Broadpool Lane, near Police Station, Hambleton; A6, Preston-Lancaster Road, near Snapewood Lane, Cabus.
Blackpool: A583, Preston New Road, near Clifton Crescent; A584, Promenade, near Warley Road; A584, Promenade, near Wilton Parade; A584, Promenade, near Dean Street; A583, Whitegate Drive, near Lightburn Avenue; A586, Westcliffe Drive, near Norwood Avenue; A584, Promenade, near Cocker Square; A584, Promenade, near Shaw Street; B5262, Lytham Road, near Station Road; A584, Queens Promenade, near Sandhurst Avenue; B5262, Lytham Road, near St George's Road, Blackpool; A587 East Park Drive, near Lawson Road; A584, Promenade, near Watson Road; A583, Preston New Road, near Clifton Road; A5099, Central Drive, near Field Street; A5230, Squires Gate Lane, eastbound near Lindale Gardens; A5230, Squires Gate Lane, westbound near Lindale Gardens; A412, Devonshire Road, near Caunce Street; A587, St Walbugas Road, near Dawlish Avenue; B5262, Lytham Road, near Lonsdale Avenue, Blackpool; A583, Whitegate Drive, near Kensington Road; A587, South/East Park Drive, near Preston Old Road.
Fylde: A583, Blackpool Road, near Lodge Lane, Clifton; A583, Kirkham By Pass, east of Freckleton Street, Kirkham; A585, Fleetwood Road, north of Medlar Lane, Greenhalgh.
Former traffic chief inspector Ian Bell, who is leading the multi-agency road safety crackdown as project director, said: "The sites have been chosen because they have histories of accidents often caused by speeding.
"The aim is to further demonstrate that speeding will not be tolerated because it puts lives at risk."
The extra cameras have been criticised by the RAC Foundation, the campaigning arm of the motoring organisation.
A spokesman said: "The fact so much money is being made from the cameras shows that they are not working."
wiggi are you going to make it
