Daredevil joins John Woo's next pic.

November 15, 2002 - Variety reports that Ben Affleck is inching closer to starring in director John Woo's next film, Paycheck. The sci-fi thriller is described as "the futuristic tale of an amnesiac trying to piece together his past" and is based on a 1953 short story by Philip K. Dick (Minority Report, Blade Runner).

The trade claims Paycheck "centers on an electrician who wakes up to discover his employer has erased his memory of the past two years as a security measure. When he tries to collect his paycheck, he finds he had previously signed a release replacing the money with a bag of random objects."

Affleck's upcoming films include Daredevil, the hitman comedy Gigli and Jersey Girl (both opposite his fiancee Jennifer Lopez). He's also attached to star in Surviving Christmas.

When I saw him in the Daredevil trailer I couldn't stop laughing! What a joke - I am definitely NOT gonna see that film now...this guy is way too overrated.

I'm really disappointed in John Woo - he should know better...

I personally dont mind Ben Affleck! (He gets to hoof it up J-Lo for one!!) And i will go and see the daredevil film as im a big fan of anything marvel related even if it is shit!!
