@desc, I believe that some of the older skins won't work with Dharma, that doesn't bother me.

What i'd like to sort out is the names on the dual boot screen and the countdown timer (currently at 10s, would like to reduce to 3s) and also to have my HDD from the W7 install visible in XBMC.

I also want to have my drive from my windows 7 partition visible in XBMC, no luck there either.
I didnt Dual boot. I intended on getting away from Windows on my Revo. Sorry, cant help with this issue.

Lastly, I have downloaded a new skin, Aeon, and FTP'ed it over to home/xbmc/.xbmc/skin but it does not show up on the Appearance tab.
The Skin should now be FTP'd to "/home/xbmc/.xbmc/addons/skin.aeon" for it to be found.

    i presume it's ntfs ?

you'll have to install ntfs support which from memory is the command

    sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g

then you'll need to create a mountpoint and create an entry in /etc/fstab so it gets automatically mounted every time

let me know if (& where) you get stuck and i'll try and be a bit more specific.

I ran 'sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g' and it said that it was already installed. I have found a guide here and it says to run 'sudo fdisk -l | grep NTFS' but I can't type the '|' character on my Acer keyboard. When I press shift and \ together I get > on the screen.

I'm still stuck on trying to mount my internal NTFS HDD in XBMC. I've sorted the keyboard issues I was having by Putty'ing in to the system. When I type: sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g and I get

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
ntfs-3g is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 31 not upgraded.

I then typed: sudo mount -l and I get

rootfs on / type rootfs (rw)
none on /sys type sysfs (rw,nosuid, nodev, noexec, relatime)
none on /proc type proc (rw,nosuid, nodev, noexec, relatime)
none on /dev type devtmpfs (rw,relatime,size=1410652k,nr_inodes=211868,mode=755)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,nosuid,noexec,relatime,gid=5,mode=620,ptmxmode=000)
    /dev/disk/by-uuid/a34f393b-10de-4b95-bf4a-a0b383f54778 on / type ext4 (rw,relatime,errors=remount-ro,barrier=1,data=ordered)
none on /sys/fs/fuse/connections type fusectl (rw,relatime)
none on /sys/kernel/debug type debugfs (rw,relatime)
none on /sys/kernel/security type securityfs (rw,relatime)
none on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw,nosuid, nodev, relatime)
none on /var/run type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,relatime,mode=755)
none on /var/lock type tmpfs (rw,nosuid, nodev, noexec, relatime)
none on /lib/init/rw type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,relatime,mode=755)
/dev/sdb1 on /media/My Passport type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_id=0,group_id=0,default_permissions,allow_other,blksize=4096) [My Passport]
/dev/sr0 on /media/WD SmartWare type udf (ro,nosuid,nodev,relatime,uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=77,iocharset=utf8) [WD SmartWare]

I then typed: sudo cat /proc/partitions and I get

    major minor #blocks name

    8 0 156290904 sda
    8 1 102400 sda1
    8 2 130585600 sda2

    8 6 1103872 sda6
    8 16 976075776 sdb
    8 17 976074752 sdb1

I am totally clueless as to what it all means. Can someone help?

I've got my NTFS HDD mounted now with some help from a guy over at the XBMC community forum.

There is a thread detailing what has to be done here

I have also changed the names on the dual boot screen from Ubuntu, with Linux 2.6.32-24-generic to XBMC, this is also explained in that thread.

Has anyone experienced any problems with loosing audio when coming out of sleep mode on the revo with xbmc (audio over hdmi)? I get it about 80% of the time when coming out of sleep mode and it's damn annoying. Is there a solution?

Anyone using this at the moment? It's my new Home Page on my PC now. Totally impressed.

    MediaFrontPage
It's a FrontEnd for organising everything all in one place. Great for any HTPC owner and I recommend trying it!

If you need help setting it up, let me know.

Depends on the system your using - I'm using it with XBMC Live as it already has everything you need. But setting this up is pretty straight forward.

Are you using XBMC on Linux, Windows or Standalone (Live)?

I've just installed a stick of 2GB to take the total to 3GB.

Is there anything I should do in terms of config to give me the best performance? I'm running Win7 Ultimate.

I remember reading about changing some setting for the gfx memory to let it use the increased RAM but I'm not so sure.
