Last time I checked, the Willems programmer that I have doesnt read this particular kind of flash chip. This may have changed, but I dont think so....
Your best bet is to buy a working Benq drive off ebay and simply swap the flashroms....well I say simply, you do still need to have the soldering skills to do such a thing.
I can solder but not that good enough to tackle removing the flash rom..By the way is that the chip nearest the red and black wires!!
no i think thats the drive controller. its the other one with epoxy on it i think.
Am i right in here if i replace this 8 pin chip circled in red on to another Benq it should work.
as this is the chip that stores the key.
Also whats the best method of removing the eproxy stuff.

yes should work i think but its a lot of hassle if not your console. scalpel and heat gun for epoxy
