    Default X-Box £139???

This could be bullshit as I'm getting it 3rd hand mate of a mate etc. So please delete if its crap.

Tesco are selling X-Box for £139 apparently he saw it in the store this morning? I'm just looking online now....

apparently it was the tesco near Reebok Stadium.

Can't see any sign of it online though mind you can't see it at £199 either.

gamecube going to £99, looks like its starting to get interesting, odd that sony should stick to a higher price point than m$ though i'd have thought they would have matched it

    good info bobby once again

I think Sony had their price in mind for a while to announce it at ECTS anyway, but MS decided to steal their thunder a bit and under cut them

I guess Cube will just follow suite anyway

Xbox has been catching up, that's why PS2 did't need to lower the price. However, it's official that xbox is having another price cut so I expect PS2 will have to match up somehow. Lets face it, there aren't many 'exciting' new games lately for PS2 innit. There have been more people wanting xbox than PS2 (my sales) so they better reduce their price!

I have my eyes firmly on GC though. Once its price drops, I will queue up for one..been gagging for Resident Evil GC....AR GC when will you be releaseeeeeeeeed?

Nintendo are supposidly rolling in cash at the mo. So I doubt they'll have any probs matching further price cuts. It nice to see them doing well again after the bad end to N64 sales and falling Gameboy Colour sales. Mind you they do have two kick pieces of kit on the market at the moment (GC and GBA).
