Default How many people surf the forums at work?

I was wondering how many members surf and post in the forums while at work has anyone got in any bother and does anyone go to the trouble of covering up any non work related surfing?

not guilty - students dont work!!!
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I surf from work too, only been in 15 minutes and i am already doing it.

It also helps that my brother wrote the software that the company uses to monitor emails and web usage. now everybody else's is logged except mine so i can pretty much do what i want.

Besides i am the only one from the company who has admin rights on the system anyway so they always come and ask me to check if they think someone has been abusing our crappy 64k isdn.

I am at work right now!! I only read DF before I start and in my lunch break.

I might get a telling off if I was reading when I should be working.

    Cheers

I don't think it is sad to check out the forums regularly even on christmas day but especially at work (I can hardly talk I started this thread at 3.31am ffs). I was wondering how people got away with it but I suppose it depends on how tightly your employer checks net usage, unless of course your self employed or the person who checks for abuse (nice one gimp). I am not that suprised that a lot members can't stay away for the place because when the forums were down a lot of people seemed to be suffering from withdrawal (until crazed criminals temporarily filled the gap).

Lol I have been around much longer than that (Jan 2002) since about late 2000 but I reregistered when the forums got back up and running. I am not gonna tell you what my original nickname was because it sucked. You wouldn't remember it anyway as I rarely used to post (I have rarely posted on this username till recently but I have a bit more time on my hands lol).

Sometimes you have to But I try to keep it to a minimum as the internet is "only for work related use" I could probably use the tech forums as an excuse, but I doubt it would wash!
