    Default Question on X-ecutor

Is there another spot to solder the "one wire" to if the existing spot has lost its small pad from overheating?

No But what you can do is, take a razorblade and scrap gently and carefully some of the green stuff on the actuall line that goes to that hole. then soldier on the line... it will work.

Actually, there is an alternate point.

Use point #9 from the OpenXbox diagrams, it's on the underside of the motherboard.

fyi, you _cannot_ use this as an alternative solder point if the original point has been melted and not properly fixed.
