Kids Education TV 70's/80's?

Can anyone remember the name of the program that would teach kids how to write correctly.......

it had a magic pencil that wrote on a board with noone holding it.......that make any sense?

people here reckon it was woody or wordworth or something...

any help appreciated.

Was that the show with the weird high pitched floating looking calculator type thing???? badly done blue screen effect done on its legs.

hahahah! i remember that.....had a song about the magic 'e'!!!!

Cant remember what it was called tho.....i can just remember those ghostly letters!!!

Im so glad you found this or else my mind would have been done in for ages. Im surprised we all are'nt in mental institutions after watching shows like this as kids.
