Short term car insurance

Been looking to insure a van for a short term (3 months), but having trouble finding an insurer who does a short term insurance.
Can anyone suggest one please?

A friend of mine got insurance in installments, and simply stopped paying when he got rid of the vehicle. Technically he was tied in to the full year, but they just stopped his cover and let him go. Think it was Tesco.

Most insurance firms will refund a certain percentage if you sell the vehicle though, based on how much of the policy was still left to run. You might well have to get a full year, and then balance the early refund cost with the overall policy cost to come up with the cheapest alternative. They don't need to know you already intend to only have 3 months cover, just ask "what happens if I sell the vehicle part way through the contract" and see what they say.
