    Don`t suppose many people will have scanners that reach such frequencies anyway.

    i think it's because there digital so all you would here is noise but not sure

    From the other post,
    1,880Mhz and 1,900Mhz. This is subdivided to provide 10 separate carrier frequencies. In turn each carrier frequency is divided into 24 time slots, two of which are used for each conversation. This provides a 32 kbit/s digital voice channel using a time division duplex strategy.
