Default Where to buy a Linker

Does anyone know of a reliable place within the continental United States to purchase a GBA Linker from? I've heard many nasty stories of ordering from overseas (don't know if they are valid stories or not). The ideal situation would be a store local to Maryland where I could do an over-the-counter purchase, but I'm sure that is too much to hope for! Also, is the Extreme Linker the best/most reliable out there right now?

    Thanks for the feedback.

No, the best place to buy is www.cd64.com . I've ordered twice from there, (I'm in Australia) and both times the packages arrived in 4 days or less. They're also cheaper than lik-sang, and if you're paranoid about import duties/taxes then you can request them to mark the package as a gift/"product sample".

Lik-sang have earnt themselves a shit reputation, they were advertising "Extreme 256 carts" and shipping regular "Flash advance pro" carts instead. heh.

    Default Update....

Ordered: 11 September 2002, Eastern USA. Expect stock 9/20.
12 Septmenber 2002, received confirmation. Unit on
    backorder (Lik-Sang).

Received: 15 September 2002, Sunday, BEFORE noon!

Review: Software install = no brainer.
Hardware detect = flakey. "Insufficient power".
Connect power supply, change USB ports, disconnect
and reconnect unit, all is well.
Construction = cheap, as all console add-ons seem.
Functions as advertised, although very slow, as I
have read, but it works fine.

Problems: A REAL GBA cartridge has a "lip" on it which makes
removal from the GBA easy. The Flash Cartridge
does NOT have this lip, making removal a B*TCH!
Solution = Duct tape, the all in one solution for
the worlds problems. Make a "pull-tab" out of duct
tape so that you have something to grab hold of,
problem solved. Strong fingers would probably work
well also, but I don't have them and I'm certain
the kid using this does not have them either.
Maybe after a few hundred "In-and-Out" stokes it
will loosen up, works for women!

Just my experience, if anyone cares. Your mileage WILL vary.
