    Default cd or dvd?

Sorry if this is a idiotic question. Is there a site that lists which format xbox games are in (CD or DVD)? Possibly a site that covers all consoles? Or are all games in CD format or DVD format?

Just want to know how many will require a DVD-R drive to copy games (without ripping video, audio, etc). Only have a CDRW drive and I'm trying to determine if there enough games out there that can be backed up with a CDRW drive to warrant me getting a excuter or openx chip.

Again, sorry for the newbie 'stupid' question. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

easy, all the cd rips are 20meg rar files and the dvd ones are 50meg ones.

there is isonews sites that tell you whats out aswell, but isonews is down at the moment.

you do mean to download dont ya, or do you mean to copy originals with evolution-x, if you mean copying originals then they all need dvd media as far as i know m8

I did mean to copy and original title. I take your answer that all original backups need to be done via and on dvd-r. Thanks for the help.

Only a fraction of releases will fit onto cd. That's even if your drive will read 'um. Shrek fits onto cd - Freaky told me it's a good game but I haven't got round to playing it yet

lol Jus' messin' with ya'. Shrek was one of the first xbox games I downloaded - it's also one of the worst.

The Thing fits onto CD, and I'm pretty sure I got the ProjectX release.

    Actually,
    Crazy Taxi is 376 megs,
    Gun Valkerie is 703 megs,
    Fusion Frenzy is 645 megs
    - I'm sure there are others, but there are still a few small games out there...
