Getting round a filter?

Im behind firewall/filter, how do I get round it to access filtered web sites and play online games UT/CS?

I think i'm goin to need 2 ways one for the games and one for the net,

Forget it mate - if your trying to do this at work/college any company with any idea should have it locked down tight. The only ports that may be open on the firewall are

Port 80 - internet
Port 25 - Email
Port 443 - SSL

Maybe 21 for FTP but I doubt it.

If you can get a game to play on these you may be in with a chance but I doubt it - it very easy to block games and filter websites - can you access other proxy servers or Anonimisers on the internet ? This m,ay help you get passed the Websites - it depends on the filtering software you are stuck behind - do you know what it is called - smartfilter, websense etc ? Sorry if I am not giving you much hope but this is part of my job and I know how easy it can be to block stuff. (if you go to a library/school in norfolk or derby my apoligies - I am the one stopping your fun)

Its RM SafetyNetPlus and a college. I dont know about "can you access other proxy servers or Anonimisers on the internet" but what about programs that you can download?

I have tryed http tunnel, and have yet to try peekabooty (cant download the prog because its filtered, lol)

One of my tech teachers let me go on his pc on the net (unfiltered) but wouldn't tell me how to do it on my own pc. DAM ANNOYING

I have downloaded Peekabooty and I will have a play with it If I find anything I will let you know.
