Default Video/Flash keeps making PC crash. Whats wrong?

    Video/Flash keeps making PC crash.
When I watch for example FiveonDemand after about 10mins my PC crashes, also today when watching Sky Player it crashed 3 times. It also happens for sopcast at times.

This also happens when I play flash games for e.g. those physics type ones that you have to through a grenade over a wall to kill a snowman (Fragger).

The graphics card I have is a Radeon 9200 (SE Family) according to device manager. I toughed the heatsink on it after the crash and it was very hot.

What do you think the problem is? Do I need a new graphics card?

    Cheers

check your error logs (google if you don't know how) this will go a long way in determining weather the problem is hardware or software...

what happens when it "crashes".. does it freeze, does it reset, does it turn off.. are there any errors that come on screen? what version of windows.. what web browser... all basic info

xul.dll seems to be part of firefox, maybe try a different browser and see how that handles sky player?

does you computer have onboard video you could resort to run from and determine if heat is a factor?

I think i do have onboard video yes, but its probably shite.
BTW - I installed the new ATI software and now the cunt of a PC crashes just before it loads XP, think it could be fucked.
How do I fix that now?

try the onboard and see if it still happens.. (turning off/failed boot)

it may be shite, but if it resolves the issues then you know the culprit.

unplugged the graphics card, and now using onboard graphics, tested watching sky player, seems ok so far with no quality issues, however my desktop resolution isnt as good as it used to be and cant change to a better setting.
Tried playing a flash game while watching but both end up v slow.
Must be the graphics card then possy...
Now what? Do I buy a new card?
Cant really afford much at the minute, around £30 would be budget, could you advise?

    DIT - I have PCI, i think

try and tolerate the inferior resolution until you are sure it is running ok..

I'm thinking since you have radeon 9200 you don't play that many high end games.. maybe this graphics card... http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/...roductId=39659

You have XP and onboard Graphics, most likely an older machine,so check the slot.
Is it PCI,AGP or PCIe first.

PC did the same again, isn't loading past XP screen again so going to wait a few hours for it to cool down then check my error logs. And also uninstall that ATI software
