New PC advice please

My friend wants a new PC for his house. The features he wants are:

• 500gb hdd
• HDMI output/HiDefinition out, so he can watch HD movies on a large HDTV next door
• ability to play games occasionally, such as whatever the newest ROME TOTAL War is (he likes that type of game) but it doesn't need to be a gaming PC
• Monitor not needed but if a good deal then include it
• basically will mainly be used to output films next door, play games the odd time, to do work on (basic stuff) and surfing the net

Could anyone find such for me?
Budget is probably £400 and under
