Having problem with loading games

i have a mod-chip , don't know exactly what kind.
The DVD-R discs work fine but CD-RWs are not loading on 90% of the cases and when they do load , sometimes the game stucks.
I tried burning it at X2 speed and it still doesn't work.
i burned them on verbatim, hp, tdk, and silver line.
WHAT TO DO?

I had same problem
you have a few options
1 keep testing diff. cd-rws tell you find one that works
2 you need to do a pot mod so your x box can read the media better
3 play the games off your hard drive this is the best option and the one i went with, the games run better and you can even upgrade to a bigger hard drive i went with a 80 gig for this you need to run EvoltionX
