due to the fact i couldn't open the files i think they must've been currupt somehow, cos all my channels are basically chat and one bot announcing (ahem) . no xdcc/fservs flooding my screen, so it gotta be something wrong.

Well, for those of you that have come up w/something intelligebt, Thanks for your replies, I`ve found out what exactly it is caused by..
This thread was in NO WAY intended as a troll for your insignificant ramblings Itz B Tek, By posting the "Hilarious" comment you did, you`ve ABSOLUTELY clarified what I thought of you all along, you are an insignificant punk ass little bitch, If I was your parents, I`d be ashamed of myself for bringing you into this world, As well as not beating the hell outta you for being you.
For those of you wondering, The log is indeed a microkernal DB error, The offending program, Crystal Reports, creates the file as it is opening databases if the DB is opened successfully it deletes it, if you have by chance run out of disk space (as happened to my cohort) the program dumps whatever has been opened into that log file..
Stupid part is, it dumps it onto your C drive by default, which is obviously low on space to begin with...
Someone @ Seagate should have rethought THAT feature methinks.
Anyhow, thanks for your words and time..
(EXCEPT you Itz B Tek..If you ever get a chance to come to Calgary definitely look me up, I`d like to show you how your parents should have "corrected" you for being you)
yea i'll do that....Originally posted by Dimzin

NO
just delete it... logs are for system admins and troubleshooters =[
It`s not on my machine, It`s on a machine of a friend of mine. They`ve a small network setup and use Crystal Reports for their client D.B. or some shit like that..
I just deleted it, defragged and got back some of their space, Now they are able to open it and haven`t any worries about it being re-created.
Later...
