i got this really annoying thing with explorer, it always either automatically switches to the page that finishes loading or flashes it in the taskbar. i can't find anything related to this setting in options, help, or microsoft's site. anyone know how to turn this off? THANKS

Windows XP I presume?

If so, then download Power Toys for Windows XP (free from Microsoft) and use Tweak UI and under the "General" tab on the bottom you will see setting to control the "flashing" and stealing focus.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

While your talking about that, do you know where to get the Windows2000 Powertoys, can't see them on Microsofts site anymore

use opera? everything will load in tabs and you can switch to it whenever youre ready www.opera.com
