ok, this is another of my pet peeves

i'm just checking my spamkiller logs and thinking.......
my personal url email account = no spam
my bt accounts = no spam
my lineone/tiscali account = 95 spams in the last 5 days

is anyone else finding they are getting a lot of spam through isp's that tiscali have bought out and are tiscali selling username lists to the spammers

any way of finding out?

My Lineone account is constantly getting them ABc - I only check it for a good laugh - havent used it in years - total crap - as bad as hotmail .

i dont realy get them on hotmail much either, just this lineone/tiscali problem.

do you reckon that tiscali sold all the lineone account details when they took over (as a way of getting some money back)?

Could well be ABc - when I used Lineone as an isp it was fine - shortly after tiscali bought them the spam began to arrive in droves so it would make perfect sense.

Not with lineone, but I have a very old cable+wireless account which gets spammed at least 5 times a day
The content is normally save $$$$ on a mortgage, see me naked, pyramid selling schemes.

i keep getting the one flogging Norton anti-virus, its not even from the Norton website, just some muppet trying to sell me something i would not be with out!!!!

yeah, i've had loads of them too

and of course the classic i'm a hard up college student and i earn x billion dollars in my spare time.

although i have to admit i was amused by a couple that said to be removed click here, then the hidden link was to a site called nouce.com (no use?) still i got them thrown off their isp (although they have moved cos a m8 got one from them a couple of weeks back still using the nouce as the remove addy.

you should see the lineone/tiscali forums, they are full with people complaining about their mailboxes getting spammed, oh its up to 121 killed now

Lol, you think that's bad, I sell 600 things a month on ebay, I am on about 6000 users computers. I get 27 klez viruses a day not mentioning the others AND I get 200+ spams a day.

Try dealing with that shit!
