How to put DVD Region X - Version 2 onto X-BOX Hard Drive?

I currently have Evolution X installed on my X-Box and was wondering how I could install DVD Region X and therefore not have to keep booting from the disc.

Any help greatfully accepted...

just ftp to your xbox, copy the dvdx directory (extract from the download or rip the disc) onto the E drive (or F if you have a larger hard drive) . add a command to your evox.ini or menu.ini to launch it. If you have an autoadditem command in your ini file it will automatically show on reboot.

I've installed dvdx2 on a dvd-r, it boot and works fine on xbox,but when I install it on HD, and boot from HD (with ftp raw command or through evox menu) the console shows "evolutionX" and reboot itself, can someone help me ?

I found the problem.I forgot the "media" folder,now all my dvd video boot fine ;-) .

please can you explain exactly what you did as I had exactly the same problem. Ev0-x would just re-boot itself.

Hi liftoo.
gonna try to explain you.

if you look at the files and folders on the dvdx2 iso, you will see the file default.xbe and a folder called media.
Maybe you just forgot this folder like me.
I think it is easier copying dvdx2 with xbox copy software than ftp.
