I was speak to some who says it costs around �450 for a nice setup so my question is, is it worth it?

That price is around 2 years worth of SKY so is really worth spend the money for a setup like on the link to the page above are the channels any good are many of them english?

For 450 sobs you are not guaranteed 2 years worth of foreign free TV. with changing encryptions its a dodgy investment. OK if you enjoy the hobby but unwise if you expect indefinite televised goodies.

Do more research on the forums about what is available and for how long before changes in encryption systems. There's loads of stuff already here and on other forums.
