My XBOX wont boot any games (even originals)

I have a modded xbox with the enigmah chip. I was playing around with evolution x and put the menu.ini file on the c:\ drive of my xbox and since i did that my xbox will not boot original games, copy games or anything. I keep getting a message saying to insert an xbox game. The xbox boots up to the main menu if I dont have any dvds in it but as soon as I put in a dvd of any sort it gives me that same message. I figured it had something to do with the menu.ini file because as soon as i put it on the xbox hard drive it stopped working. I am not sure what to do now and any help would be appreciated because I dont want to have to order another xbox unless its my last option. It seems like there is something that can be done and I am hoping someone out there reads this and is nice enough to help. thanks in advance...

Try to burn evox on to a cd-rw or dvd and boot up with it. FTP to ur xbox and reinstall or remove evolutionx completly.

I tried burning evo x to a cdrw and dvdr and since the xbox wont boot anything at all that wont work either/.

that hapenned to me but it booted the old evo dvdr i had. Try that, booting the OLD evo then set up the ftp and connnect to it and erase evox from c:\

I had the same problem and fixed it by changing the evox.ini to allow boot from dvd by changing the follwing line to yes

AutoLaunchDVD = No

Does anyone know where I can get the original first version fo evolution x? I tried the new version and it wont work since I am having this problem. A tutorial on xbox-scene.com said to use the original evo x. thanks...
