I have an X-ecutor and Evox 2.4 and the dvd-prog so I can start dvd, but I think I need some ms-dashboard for this to work. Am I right? What else do I need? When I start my xbox with the dvd in, it doesn´t start, but goes to the evox menu.

I have the same prob and cant seem to find an answer
If i wanna watch a DVD i just put the original files back on the xbox and it works ok. I know it sounds silly, but it only takes about one min or so.

you mean DVD-X ? You have to start the program then insert the DVD..
If i have the same prob as xboxer, then its just films wont boot at all. I have the dongle and remote, but they wont start, it goes straight to the evox menu.
Would installing anything on the hdd help?

PS: How would i need to alter the menu.ini if i was to pop something new on?
