    Default CDRW Overheating?

I've got a new laptop and when writing several cds from norton ghost dos (which cannot change the speed setting) there will b an apparntly random error. It can happen on the first cd. This laptop is new and the cdrom drive is extremely hot after the error has occured, is something wrong?

    cheers

Laptop CDRW's do get a bit hot when in use, first suggestion is to try better media.
    Hope this helps
