    Help removing sophos anti virus

    hey all,

The wifes works laptop has had some pc geek at school install sophos antivirus on it and I can't get rid of it as its making a slow machine run even bloody slower. I've done a regular uninstall and it appears to have gone but then when you reboot the autoupdate thing is there.

I can't seem to shift it once and for all as it was installed with this nerd as administrator. Is there a way to get rid of it as a normal user?

    thanks in advance.

Why does "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean
    the same thing?

Type msconfig, and a dialogue box will pop up with stuff that runs at startup which you can disable.

Alternatively I was going to suggest downloading one of those password cracking utilities that have been posted on here (sorry can't remember a particular thread), log in as admin, and that may help you sort it?
