dual bar code stickers??

On my xbox there is a sticker on the back of the console that lists the serial number and manufacturing date of May 18 2002. The sticker is gray/silver.

I noticed that there is a sticker underneath it as well. I checked it out and it says "Xbox console tracking number.."

Is this normal? to have these 2 stickers? Im asking because this is a brand new console and I want to make sure I didnt get a refurbished model...
