been looking for a tutorial on nokia tool 1.8 by rolis but can't find one. anybody got a link.

Use nokia tool by Jordik its much better

[NOKIA TOOL BY JORDIK]

1) Run Program
2) Click read phone
3) Click Clear SP Locks
4) Click Update FAiD
5) Switch phone off and on
6) Read phone again to check sim lock status
7) Enjoy your unlocked phone.

[ROLIS]

1) Run Program
2) Click Read Phone
3) Click Clear SP Locks
4) Click update FAiD
5) Enjoy Your Unlocked Phone

[KNOK]

1) Run Program
2) Choose Phone Model
3) Go to Modify Locks
4) Reset SP Locks
5) Go to phone settings
6) Click quick set FAiD

thanks for the reply furgo. i know how to unlock with this software its the other stuff on the prog i want to know about, ie SFR, clear CNFG, Open All, Change IMEI (which is always ticked) why is it ticked, what do these buttons do. sorry but i'am new to this and just want to know more.

If you move the mouse over the buttons, it will give a small indication of what each of the features do, try looking at the bottom of the gui, it will have the fuctions (when the mouse is over them).

I think its ticked as default, meaning if you wanted to change the IMEI of a phone (which is illegal if you give it a new imei, but not if you restore the original imei (ie after a repair etc.)) then u just place the IMEI in the relevant box's, tick the box (is already ticked) and click on the IMEI button, then set faid.

i think wot gaz wants 2 know is wot the other buttons r for
ie SFR, clear CNFG, Open All.
i dont actually know wot cnfg means but it appears 2 b an abbreveation for something so wot would it do if i ticked this box while updating faid for xample? would it harm the fone would it clear the scores from the games?

alternativly does ne1 have a user manual(dont know if there is 1)
