my ps2 is fucked! help!

i let my brother borrow my ps2 over the summer when he went to sweden and he was carrying it into another room to use it on a different tv, he didn't bump into anything and he turns it on and with any game that worked perfectly b4 it says no data! wtf 300euros for nothing and the garantee is gone to since ive opened it b4. any1 know wat can be wrong with it ive tried a cd cleaning kit but no luck there.

I really wanna play vice city and all those good games without having to buy a new one, thanks for any help. g00z

is it modded? unmodded?

also, if you are in the usa, and he is in sweden, the voltage in the outlets may be dif, causing the death of your ps2.......

if it's modded, then someone did a shit modjob..or he didn't "bump" it, but really banged it, and threw the lazer off the track..

could be any number of things......
