Advice please on network cards, I'm going shopping soon to start getting all the things I need for my xbox hack,
1.could someone say whether a basic network card 10/100 is ok
2.what sort of cable?
3.can I copy the contents of an xbox game across to my PC before I get it chipped

1. any network card will do as long as its a 10/100
2 you need a crossover cable
3 no you cant copy the files over UNTIL you get it chipped.
only use a crossover cable if your connecting the xbox directly to a network card, if your using a hub or something else then you need a normal net cable

is it easy to make a crossover cable or can you buy them
its easy if you know how m8 and have got the tools, read this stickey on how to do it, but yes you can buy them
