GTA3 rip on v5
has any one had any probs with the gta3 cd rip on v5 consoles?, still playing fine on my v3 and a v4 but on mates newer model it just hangs/freezes where the game is about to start
tried in 2 v5`s now,both the same result
tried a lot of games on it just this one with problem
all of them are uk pal machines apart from v4 that was from somewhere in europe i think

It just depends on each individual console m8, but I must admit this is strange because the v5-7 have the BEST PS2 lasers available in them (high lens) where as the v1-4 have ones that aren't quite as good (low lens), so if anything it should work in the V5, but not the other consoles. What type of boot method r u using? If you r using a non-swap method in the v3 & 4 consoles and a swap method in the v5 it might affect it.
no need for swap on any. v4 used to need one,but works on it
i know the lasers are a vast improvement on the earlier ones,i got a v5 for my mates was tempted keep it,the dvdr of the game works fine on all,ill dl another rip and try down mates
