v50 help

[Danger Mouse]

my m8 recently bought a v50 and was told it was unlocked to all networks.
when i tried my o2 sim card in it the other day it flashed up a message saying something about entering a security code

can any1 shed any light as to what this code is?

im sorry its a bit vague but hes out 2nite, ill speak 2 him smorro and get the xact message and edit the post accordingly

the factory set security is 00000000, nine times out of ten thats what it is

If not you can buy a Motorola test sim for around £15, put it in the phone and press the # key, keep it pressed and it will go into test mode, type 59# ( i think thats it either that or 58#) and it will give you the security code

If it asks for the unlock code then that is factory set at 1234
