Default X-Box Emulator on your PC

    Hi folks,

Sorry if this subject has already been talked about, but can anyone confirm if X-Box games work on a PC with the aid of an emulator.:?: :?:

Sure do, the only extra bit of kit you'll need is a big heavy arsed black box with a shiny green bit in the middle - costs around £160.

There's not exactally a emulator, but there is a project at the moment which can convert .xbe's in .exe's.

Remember for emulators to work well the PC running the emu needs to be alot faster than the cpu that's being emulated (can't remeber exactally how fast). The chances of a fast working emu appearing for the xbox in the next year or so are very very slim.

    Damn Straight - lol

Keeping in mind how long it took for a decent Psx emulator to arrive (although I realise the xbox utilises a lot of the the Pc's architecture) I really don't have much confidence in one being around for the Xblox in the too near future

I dunno if the PS emus are a fair comparision. Xbox and PC are very similar in terms are hdd access and graphics chipset and of course processer - I think it will be possible to write a emu more quickly than the normal serveral years - but it may run like crap on anything other that a v high spec machine - just my 2 cents
