Heh I'm just kidding. I originally saw the series when it first aired on HBO almost a year ago. It was fantastic. Definitely "movie quality" television. It only gets better from here.

Lieutennant Winters is the shit, I totally respect that actor. The cast is phenomenal, the action is intense, the direction is tight, the music is atmospheric and apporpriate, and the special effects are outstanding.

And that was great in "Day of Days" when one of them threw a grenade and nailed that Nazi fuck right in the back. Sweet shit.

Only problem i have with Band of Brothers is overly shaky camera. Overall is good series

I thought band of brothers was pretty average, but then again i tend to dislike anything tom hanks and steven spielberg are involved in, and that includes the criminally overrated saving private ryan.

Not that I am a total advocate of the movie, but what in particular did you find overrated about Saving Private Ryan? I thought it was very well done

the the peopls that i've met that were there and saw the movie say it's the best representation of WW2 ever produced. It's kind of hard to argue with my grandfather about that when he was one of those bastards getting off the higgens boats.
