because gobshite told me to get some professinal help after I asked him why people put animal welfare before child welfare.

You know as well as i do that is not what he meant!.

just because you don't support the cause it doesn't mean no one else should.

anyway, i would support any petition for a good cause either, children or animals.so heres the details from leftfield.

The RSPCA – in conjunction with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and the League Against Cruel Sports – is calling on the government to introduce a bill as soon as possible to ban fox, deer, hare and mink hunting with dogs.

Not only was it moved to the HOS, but the thread was closed just as I was about to have my say.
The last time this issue was raised, the thread was closed then as well.
4me2 seems so against a ban on Fox hunting, that he will use his position to do whatever he can to stop us participating in such threads.

If you allowed the thread to stay i would say you where, it's just when threads are deleted or removed, just because a single mod or admin didn't agree with it, it's just not right, it's dictating.
if it's not causing any harm or abusive to anyone then why should it be deleted.

Don't expect another mod or admin to go behind somebody elses back just because one or two people are pissed off with his or her actions. Mods and Admin are carefully chosen

ALL mods will have each others backs on issues such as closing threads regardless of what any member says.

It wasn't one action though, 4me2 deleted 2 posts and then banned leftfield, all for supporting a good cause(in his opinion),it was in no way harmful to anyone.

Deleting leftfields post was an unfair decision, deleting 2 posts is something else.He may have been an admin for 2 years, but that doesn't make it right what he's done.It was an unfair decision.

People can still click the link in this thread, but we have had petitions like this before and all they do is cause arguement and bad feeling amongst the members, 4me2 like myself is in the pro country sports section of this board, but i too would have closed the thread, not because i was trying to trample on freedom of speech because i'm very much against anything that curbs that freedom, however there are a few subjects that cause almighty prooblems on this board (just look at the amazingly hardened attitudes in the hos'd thread to see what i mean).

There is no point in causing problems for ourselves and others by having open discussion of this subject on here, the link can stay so those who feel they wish to support a ban can still sign up.

I hope that has explained some of the reasoning for closing these threads. i'm sorry i havent been on all evening, but i had a problem with my pc and couldnt get online, however i would have closed it too, i think leftfield got banned not for posting (or even reposting) but for his attitude to other members and admin in his replies to the original post. such attitudes realy are not wanted on here.

If a post gets deleted or closed its for a good reason, otherwise it would go to the hos.

Please dont anyone take this the wrong way, i'm not meaning to sound like a power mad *******, but its the mods and admins who try to keep the board running smoothly, and as such its not good for morale of everyone if they were to allow flaming and abuse of those who give up a lot of their time to help out and keep things running smoothly, there is only one cheif on here and that is raptor, we just run the board the way he wants it run (although we will always try to be fair and give people a chance, and yes that includes 4me2).
