PLEASE help put an end too cruelty in the U.K

Hunting with dogs is cruel and unnecessary and has no place in modern Britain.

No one has a right to be cruel to animals. If previous governments had accepted the 'civil liberties' logic argued by the pro-hunt lobby, sports such as dog fighting, c0ck fighting, bear baiting and badger baiting would never have been outlawed.

    I'm BACK!

Yeah I know I saw a really nasty video of it in action, when the dogs got the hare they each had a part in their mouths and was trying to rip it apart!!

just thought i would point out that this has been happening for 100s of years all across europe

my wifes uncle in Slovakia is a hunter and has a gun dog and this is considered quite normal there

I might not agree with it and think its quite barbaric but then then think that i'm crazy just coz i can plug in my ps2 and disapear for 3 hours at a time

what i am trying to say is what we consider normal others dont and vice versa.

Riding horses wearing fancy clothes and training dogs to rip apart foxes is NATURE.

    Cheers ABC,

I saw the thread had been hossed after i posted here. Its a shame as it was a good topic of discussion, although it was always going to be an emotional argument rather than a civilised discussion.

that's the problem and the reason that posts on this subject usualy get closed or deleted, feelings are so strong about this on both sides that this subject usualy decends into a slanging match that does nothing but cause ill feeling between otherwise sane (or insane) people. We realy dont want that, if you find aware's post (closed) further down the d&d called "why?" i gave a more complete explanation there for anyone to read.

I'm sorry but i have to say I was quite annoyed , as leftfields original post wasn't asking for a debate or opinions, it was just offering a window of support for the campain, for those who wished to contribute to the petition.
Everyrthing was calm until 4me2 came on throwing his weight around.

edit:i realise 4me2 and all of the mods have an extremely hard job moderating the boards, and i guess if it wasn't for you lot their would be no board, so thanks for the hard work anyways.
    no hard feelings

i think leftfield_ was a very opinionated guy some people would call it narrow minded i have seen a lot of post's from him saying this is shit and this is the best with no real expanation why. to pick a subject like foxhunting was not really a wise choice for him

I've signed the petition. This is a very delicate subject so i think it might be best for everyone to keep their opinions to themselves, or try and be careful what you post, whether they're for or against hunting. Take it easy guys!
