Robocop star peter Weller is set to take the lead in a new 19 part sf thriller series with a time travel theme. Odyssey 5 kicks of with a feature- length pilot set in the year 2007. it follows the five-person crew of the space shuttle odyssey, who are the only humans left alive after a cataclysm destroys the world. The crew are rescued from space by a mysterious alien called THE SEEKER (JOHN NEVILLE) who downloads there consciousness into there past bodies, effectively returning them to there lives as they were five years ago, but with there memories intact. Can they discover who or what destroyed the earth and prevent it from happening?

did any of you catch this on sky one??
i thought it went off with a good first show .what are your thoughts on it

yeah - I was suprized by how good this was. Just whated the second episode and its still good. this may sound a bit odd but its nice to see an american show with
1. -an good english character in it
2. the words F*cking hell etc

Watched the pilot last night but missed tonight's episode - enjoyed it as well..

Looks like there could be some good twists in there - only one thing I couldn't quite grasp (but it was the first episode):

The alien sent them back in time after the destruction of the earth saying that he was moving from planet to planet looking for one that hadn't been destroyed since his planet plus loads more were destroyed by this thing..

And in the ship as the earth blew they saw something about Leviathan - then at the end of the episode they showed us that Leviathan is artificial intelligence - so how could that be related to things on other planets?

Unless that's not really anything to do with it but that thing in the tank was???

it has to do with AI .. I think its going along the line that when AI's reach a certain level of intelligence they rebell and this is carried on in other words as they develope AI
