I've not installed it, but at a guess you will still need the NR-reader to run the code on. But its a step in the right direction even if we hit another brick wall .

After looking at the software im almost sure that the alledged GC Divx player and mp3 are legit as the splash screens look similiar . I cant remember the url to these apps but I will try find em soon as.

Could you shed some light on the specs? I mean we would have no worries to fork out if we knew what we were getting.

All I ask is, does this software work on a standard GC (with or without modification) and if so does the vip section explain how?

omeba, no, its a sdk (a suite of programs that allows you to write programs for the gamecube) however in order to run the software that you write you would need to own one of the following... a gamecube development unit, a gamecube nr reader (or clone) or a modified gamecube console, it will not allow you to run the software that you write on a standard unmodified gamecube or panasonic Q.
