    Default Reading A CDR?

    I know that the Matrix chip comes with a programmer,
    but could you use install evox via cdr that i made & then flash
    the chip from evox.

    ****
    Will the xbox be able to read the cdr just by installing the chip.
    If it doesn't how to you put evox on it?
    ****

    Thanks;
    Steve

    You cant read any CD/DVDR until the chip is installed and has a bios on it - hence for the first time you wont be able to do it from the DVDrom drive - it must be flashed using the programmer.

    A lot of xbox drives aren't able to read cd-r & cdr-w because the DVDroms are crap, basically

    And this is mod-chip discussion it's in the wrong forum ...
