Im going to buy my 1st car soon.
I live in australia and have around 25k to spend. I was thinking about buying a corvette and importing it from the USA but i think that dream has die coz the cost looks too high for me.
I was thinking of getting a Supra 1994 or 1993 model or a Holden v8?
You got any other ideas?
(P.s wat would be the easies car for me to tune?)

Here in the U.K a friend of mine has a 1995 Surpra Twin Turbo. This is the Uk spec which gives out 320bhp the import gives 280bhp i think. Wonderful car...plus a chip and exhaust can give more improvment on the turbo charged car compared to a naturally aspirated engine.
i think after 1998 they had a Variable Valve Timing (VVti) engine which can produce even more power.
Tell me, what laws regarding insurance etc does your country have? Reason I ask is because any of the cars you mentioned are far from the kinda thing that British drivers could have as a first car without paying massive insurance premiums which would go into thousands, or.......... insuring it through someone else, which means they get the no claims discount and not you.

The car would be put under my dad name and then i will be place as second driver, that drives the car 50% of the time so the insurance would not be high.
Trouble with doing that is you will not build up your own no claims discount.
Why do you want such a fast and expensive car anyway??

Supra's can be tuned to massive bhp's but I don't know how easy it is..
I want a fast car, coz all my mates give me shit saying there crappy cars will beat mine, and i want a Beast to piss all over there cars (like a 10sec car AHA)
Just get a twin turbo supra then, I'm sure thats quick enough to see off most things..

My mates drive, BMW (not sure wat it is 1990 model i think), crappy jap cars like lancers and shit.

Can you drive? legally? Your father would be failing in his duties as your parent if he even considered letting you loose with anything more than a mini, let alone ANY of the cars on your wish list. Your previous posts also imply you want a "six pack" too, yes? So, U are no more than 16 yo, work in Mcdonalds, want the body of Adonis and a supercar as the first car you'll own? You have $25k to spend and your father is willing to insure you as a named driver on HIS policy ? Yeah right! Dream on!
